Super Junior

Welcome and learn all about the members of Super Junior.

BIOGRAPHY
Super Junior debuted as a 12 member group on November 6, 2005 with "Twins (Knock Out)." Originally, they were just called Super Junior05, meaning that after they were done promoting, their company, SM Entertainment, would move some members on who would "graduate" from the group and move onto different projects and be placed in different groups with some members staying with the Super Junior group, but with the suffix changing to Super Junior06. However, upon the addition of a 13th member, they decided to drop the 05 and rename themselves Super Junior.

Within Super Junior there are various subgroups, the first one being Super Junior K.R.Y., which focused more on ballads, and with the later additions of Super Junior T, which specialized in trot music, Super Junior H, which specialized in bubble gum pop, Super Junior M, which expanded into the Chinese market with Mandarin songs.

Currently there are only 10 members of Super Junior currently active as Kim Kibum went on to pursue an acting career, Kangin went into the army, and Han Geng is no longer with the company due to his lawsuit.

Super Junior is also known in the variety program world for their hilarious antics and seemingly never-ending energy. They are also known to wear shoe lifts, as they have shown them on programs before.

Super Junior's balloon color is Sapphire Blue and their fanclub is called E.L.F. which stands for Ever Lasting Friends.
